Dutasteride Overview

Dutasteride, as a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, was developed and introduced to the market in 1997. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recognizes Dutasteride as a safe and efficacious treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
